Summary: Fästingkollen does not collect any personal data. Everything you log in the app stays on your phone. We have no cloud service, no user database, and no third-party analytics.

2. What data does the app collect?
No personal data leaves your device.
The following information is stored solely locally on your phone and is only accessible to you:
- Your approximate GPS position (to determine which municipality you are in — processed locally and never saved)
- Saved places you add yourself (up to 5 locations, name, and municipality selection)
- Vaccination doses you register
- Family members you add (first name)
The data remains on your device until you delete it yourself or uninstall the app. We have no access to it.
3. What we do not collect
- No analytics platform (no Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar)
- No advertising networks
- We do not track your behavior across apps or websites
- We do not share data with third parties
- We never sell data
4. Permissions the app requests
Location — to display the risk level for your current municipality. Processed locally on the device.
No other permissions are requested.
5. Third-party services
The app uses the following services:
- Apple App Store — for distribution. Apple may collect anonymous installation and crash statistics according to Apple’s privacy policy.
- The Public Health Agency of Sweden’s (Folkhälsomyndigheten) TBE risk data — packaged within the app at each update. No continuous data transfer.
No other third-party services are used.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 years of age. Parents can register information about their children on their own phones. That data is protected in the same way as other local data.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
Since we do not store any data about you, there is nothing we can show, change, or delete on your behalf. You manage all your data directly in the app, or by uninstalling it.
